Questions

Gym owner FAQ

Is there a lock-in contract?

No. The platform is $150/month, month-to-month. Cancel anytime — we'd rather earn your business every month.

What do we need to run it?

Just an Apple TV (about $250) plugged into a screen. Use a TV you already have, or budget ~$1,000 for a new TV + Apple TV. No PC, no receiver, no installer.

How long until we're live?

Within a week. We activate your club account remotely, you plug in the Apple TV, members pair their bands — done.

How much is a member's band, and who pays?

$100 one-off per member, and it's theirs to keep. Members buy their own band — so it costs the gym nothing and you can even build in a margin if you resell them.

Does it work for all training styles?

Yes — cardio, weights, group classes, PT, pilates, functional and more. Anywhere a member wears their band, their effort shows on screen.

Is it Apple only?

The in-club display runs on Apple TV. Members use the TakeBeat app on iOS or Android to track and review their own workouts.

How is it different from Myzone?

Cheaper, no lock-in contract, runs on a simple Apple TV instead of a PC and receiver, transparent pricing, and local Australian support and stock.

Can we make money from it?

Yes. Run paid heart-rate classes and challenges, sell or resell the bands, and use the retention lift to protect your membership revenue.
